Hegemony

China is a example of hegemony. China controls Tibet. In 1910 china invaded Tibet and took control. The Dalai Lama then left the country. Tibet was then considered free of China after the forces left to fight in the Chinese Resolution. Tibet is know called Xixang and is still considered to be with China. China is trying to take over the population there and make the original population considered foreigners. Many years ago China was in control of Tibet and then they lost it, but regained it again. China took control over them because Tibet is weaker. They are still trying to negotiate, which is a part of hegemony.
